Under this extended agreement, Asset Vision will continue to provide and enhance our core asset and maintenance management platform, Data Services and our advanced inspection capability CoPilot. This new agreement extends our partnership with DTP to over 12 years, making it one of the longest running software agreements within the department.

On February 1, 2023 all five of the new Performance Based Victorian Regional Road Maintenance Contracts (VRMC) went into effect, underpinned by Asset Vision’s SaaS platform. The five contracts were awarded to three contractors, each of whom selected Asset Vision independently.

  • Barwon South West & Gippsland – Fulton Hogan
  • Hume – DM Roads
  • Loddon Mallee & Grampians – Sprayline Road Services

Performance based contracts place a high demand on the contractors to deliver a safe and consumer friendly road network. The management of these contracts demands efficient work practices and data collection that can only be done with specialised modern technology.

The technology must not only allow efficient management of the workforce to perform maintenance, but also manage the history of maintenance on the road assets to ensure the Victorian Government can maximise this considerable investment.

The Department is also taking advantage of the AV Platform’s ability to perform contract assurance/surveillance across these five contracts. With all contracts part of the one platform, the Department and the Contractors can interact in real time with full transparency and keep all data centralised.

Asset Vision is now utilised across eight of the major regional and metropolitan road maintenance contracts in Victoria.
