Gippsland Ports pioneers smarter marine asset management

Facing the challenge of managing a vast, multi-port infrastructure across Victoria’s eastern coastline, Gippsland Ports turned to Asset Vision to unify marine, port, and equipment assets into a single cloud platform. The solution delivers real-time visibility via AI-powered inspections, enables proactive maintenance planning, streamlines collaboration across teams and contractors, and strengthens safety and environmental compliance across sensitive waterways.

About Gippsland Ports

Gippsland Ports is the designated local port and waterway manager for Victoria’s eastern coastline, overseeing five designated ports-Mallacoota Inlet; Snowy River (Marlo); Gippsland Lakes; Corner Inlet & Port Albert; and Anderson Inlet-as well as four key waterways spanning approximately 1,430 km2 of some of Australia’s most significant marine environments. Since its establishment in 1996, Gippsland Ports has been entrusted by the Victorian Government with responsibilities spanning navigation, port operations, regulation, boating safety, emergency response, dredging, environmental protection, and more.
With an asset portfolio valued at ~$180 million, including $90 million in fixed assets and $91 million in non-fixed and floating plant, Gippsland Ports needed a modern way to manage operations effectively and sustainably into the future.
